Folding Community Forum ?

Aye, its still not working for me.
Im on ntl broardband, but Im not sure wether being on a different service would make any difference.
 
I'm on Be Unlimited so it isn't ISP specific. It would seem they have some sort of server or DNS issue and only certain people can get on the forums. Would be interesting to know if it is just non-members who are getting the blank screen.

I thought it might be a members thing or even a members of the beta team thing but Berserker is both and can't get on - though I guess if he's got it set to not remember him that may account for something? :confused:

Tried the Cache approach using Firefox, and got the page to render, then was able to log in. Did the same with IE.

Once you log out though, the page doesnt' render in FIrefox or IE.

kasson is right. The database appears to not be able to create new session ids in the table, that is why existing logins work, since no new session is required.

From what I have read, the whole session ID table will probably need purging.

well as WW hasn't posted for about a week it may take a bit longer :o
hopefully he's not too far away - or if he is he's at least having a great time :p


It does make me think though that Stanford should really run their own forums rather than relying on the good nature of a very busy guy :(

Well Bruce is Site Admin too but he's not posted in about a week also, there's also a decent sized team of Moderators but I'm assuming they don't have access to the inner workings.

I'm sure if WW wanted someone to help out with the admin side he'd ask - in this case it seems that both the people with the power are away or unavailable at the same time - just unlucky that something has gone wrong at the same time :o
 
I sure would appreciate it if one of you chaps with access to the forum could cut and paste the latest news on the Gpu Client front. :)

I've just had a quick look through and there really isn't any new "news" at the moment - hopefully this means that some good work is getting returned and the few bugs that have already been identified should be getting sorted

As soon as I see anything official I'll post it here :)
