Bit of a rebound for the team, back up to a very respectable PPD again

I have SB arriving on Monday!!! :D So I am very excited about that, although it's going to be a fair bit of work as I have to pinch some watercooling bits from my other system, so will have to drain it and rebuild both. I'm going to do as much prep as I can this weekend though, fingers crossed everything works ok!

Thanks for the news dekez:) good luck with the SB build. I presume you've read the forum here about problems & how best to succeed. Lets us know how you get on.

Although my production is up due to SETI probs. I have dropped out the top 20:( I'm awaiting the release of the 560 next week & if <£200 I feel I might upgrade as some of the Xmas money is waiting for a good cause.

Go on BA . . . . Bully that biffa!

:p

:D

I'm back up to third on production, although how I don't know. FoldingTwo crashed the other day. Upped the vCore and QPI on the overclock to see if that helps but it has been stable for weeks.

Thanks for the news Mr Dekez:)

Ive had a good week this week no crashes and a good supply of bigadv but just on my second 2684 in a row now:(

Heat must have been my problem, now with a desk fan blowing into the side of it Hydra has been stable for a week:)

Water kit arrived earlier, time to get out the dremel:D

Weebeastie down for most of the week affected both Folding and Seti output sorry guys. Back up to steam now hopefully. Had to knock the OC down on the GTX470's a tad (775 instead of 800)

Also switched Mars over from i7 to SB which has been fun but caused a few delays as well in both projects.

just had aa quiz, looooooooooooooooovee all ou guyus! you are all wiackdd. a bit duunk and had a qualit tcxi driver but neeed bed now

Made my morning Dekez.

On a more positive note I start my new job on February 1st and will be putting £40 a week into my upgrade pot so should have around £400 saved ready for bulldozer launch, if not a little more depending on when they actually release

Dekez re SB, I'm getting 27min/frame on a 2686 bigadv for 37K PPD without any gpu

Thats a 2600K @ 4.6Ghz

Putting the GTX460 crunching seti drops that by 5K

Is that just a bad wu or is that right for 2600k @ 4.6Ghz? Would have thought it would be closer to 40k-45k PPD.

:o sooooo hungover it's not funny!!! At least I know what time I got home now!

Biffa do you know if 260s have the same effect of dropping the big adv PPD?

If not I may put my 260 into the bigadv SB rig and move the two 460s into my other rig.

Cool I'll try that then on Monday.

Yes very good thanks! It was a Macmillan organised quiz for charity, £10 entry and booze is included and you can also bring your own. We came 2nd, and then it all gets a bit blurry after that, I have no idea why I thought my taxi driver was quality!

Anyone folded on xp64 and windoes 7 64 if so is performance the same, a small % change could make a big differance for me on bigadv.
