Folding@home News 20th August - 27 August 2010

Mu output is going to be a bit low for a week or so as only running my spare xp machine.
Its the only one i can leave on safely while im away and still fold unattended.
So current output is down by 3 x 8800GT's and my 940 CPU.
When i get back from my holiday i will need to reconfigure my main pc to get it running stable again.

I'm back folding after being absent for a long time. I've only got my i5 box crunching at the mo but i should have a couple more boxes crunching soon. :)
 
not far off stomping ATI this week

i have another SR2 bundle to do so that will churn out another bigadv
then i may have time for another two bigadv drops before the end of the week from my home pc
 
Good news on the SR2 front rj.. Also forgot to say thanks for doing the stats.

I must say its great to see the team moving forwards, or as we used to say in the Kings English: "h'onwards and h'upwards" :D

Didge fantastic news about the new muncher :) whatever it is I am sure it will need a SR-2 duallie for pureley educational purposes and to keep Casa-del-didge nice and toasty :p

All in all we rock and I think i need the rubber ring when I get home :)

on another note picked up a beast of a tj07 to transplant my ailing home rig into and lots of water cooling goodness to go with the transplant.

Hopefully weebeasties RMA on the mobo will be waiting for me when I get home and I can rebuild. Think I'm going to stick with the P6T7WS for now see if it dies again with 4x470's
as it sounds like the RE3 has its own set of problems and I don't fancy having to start again on a new case to fit one of the bigger mobos in there.

Ok thats my update stand back for the tiffe landing later :eek: :p

Forgot to flash my latest - delivered a couple of days ago. Not as big as Biffa's but second biggest is OK.

Everyone take note, all it takes is a small drop in production and you only have to look at the EOC stats weekly production figures to see the result :)

I'll have to ask the grandparents if they what to by new "central heating" ;) when we by a new house! - I'll never get away with it
