Another good week, I'm running out of original things to say here now, but we are doing better than last week again, so all good! :p

I'm going to have some down time this weekend to overclock my sandybridge rig, I've got myself one of these to put in to control the fan speeds on the rad. I did just have 5V converter cables but I reckon the fans can go a bit faster with out creating that much noise which should help temps when overclocking.

Got one in my SR-2 build. Nice bit of kit if you are not eternally fiddling with fans :)

On other news, I've stopped folding seti on the gpus as there is no work, had a dabble with Einstein as an alternative but its a CPU hog and doesn't play nice with F@H. So I'm back folding with my gpus. Still one down on weebeastie, and one seems to be EUE'ing so I'm going to clock it back a bit see if it stablises.

Still just noticed I should have posted these since last time :)

Ta for the news Dekez, holy mother of sweet jesus biffa. Gunna be a while before I get my 2 mil tiffie, going to be the end of march before I can afford a new GPU, just paid out nearly £1500 insuring taxing and MOTing my car.

Holy moly!

Thanks for the news - I'll be adding a few points to the team as I stress test my SB.
Will see how it goes and if I can keep up the power use.

Nice work biffa on the tiffys and the build log.

Anyone know what the best stress test to dertermine stability for folding on sandybridge is?

I'm using IBT at the moment, had it on standard and it was fine, changed it to maximum and it blue screened.

Thanks for the news Dekez:)

Ive used IBT for a while now, on max it seems to be close to folding.

Hydra is down for her water refit so my output will drop like a rock:(

They are some serious numbers Mr Biffa:eek:

Looks like the max overclock I can get is 4.5Ghz, couldn't get it fully stable at 1.35v on 46 multiplier and I don't want to go much over that voltage for 24/7.

1.304v at 4.5Ghz though so I'm happy with that. Running through standard SMP units at the moment and if it survives the night I'll switch back over to bigadv. Temps are at 66.

I've got mine on 1.38 for 4.6 :)

In other news think I might have by biggest day ever with near 450K

Normal SMP was ok but within minutes of bigadv it crashed :(

Voltage up to 1.328, fingers crossed!

Hope its all good now Mr dekez! What sort of output are you getting with your SB setups chaps? Would be interesting to know how much faster it is running a big adv than an i7 920/930 cheers :)

So far so good 4% at the moment!

At the moment Ive picked up a P6900, time per frame is 28:56 which HFM gives as 55,180 PPD :D :D

 55,180 ppd :) I was running gpu's but am going to leave it folding cpu only from now. Bonus is showing as 1.00 so as well as the points for completing the unit 8955 in this case will i still get a bonus on top of that....

I have now added my first few points to the team ... I think I have now done over 6k points. Watch it Biffa I am coming to get you ;) ................ in about 1000 years time! :D

Nice tiffy :)

Remember a while ago my 260 died? I got the RMA replacement through today - 460 :D
