DSL Reports Team Helix you are going down!!!!

:D:p

Lots of new users this week, welcome everyone. :)

Still haven't sorted my rig yet :o, not going to get chance now until Monday so all this slacking is going to cost me 7th place :(. Hopefully I can nab it back soon, I've already switched my seti gpu over to folding to try to minimise the damage :p.

Thanks for the news matey :)

Coming up on 60 mil in a few hours

Still on winders on the SR2 had to clock it back in the heat, lots of crashes, need more fans :( Got a desk fan on it now.

Thx for the news Dekez - sterling job.

You really need to stop slacking and get your rig sorted :D

I've lost a little performance sonewhere - can't figure out why :(

So I might be able to settle my RAC somewhere around 90k if I 'm lucky.

Had a bad week (last) - lost a few bigadv's and had a few days of A3's which had a drastic effect on my RAC :( but hopefully things look ok now.

Thanks for the news Dekez:) Sterling work you're doing.

I've been a bit quiet due to many & various reasons.
The new 560Ti is working well most of the time. Client "died" a few days ago in the night & had to reinstall. A constant stream of 6801's for 1348 points except I got one for 912 points that did in 1hr:D If only I could get more of them.

Moving rig into a HAF X tomorrow as the 560 has warmed up the CPU by up to 10C:(
Have seen it's on today only but have forgot what I knew about dual card setups & I mistakenly gave the SLi bridge to my brother. [I would need that? rather than the dummy plug setup??]

A warm welcome to the new members - onwards & upwards.

Ta for the news Mr dekez sah much appreciated, oo oo oo i made 18 without trying too hard mmmm. :)
Wonder if there would be any interest in helping us poor seti folk out? We are due to stomp Team China in 11 days and would like to go speeding passed them at high speed, naturally i would return the favour and dump a few big adv Team 10's way :D

Ah I haven't done too badly! I guess I am lucky that I have a rather powerful box at work (only temporary though :(). E3-1240 is pretty good!

I'll keep it going as long as possible though.

Loving all the stats though - much appreciated! Just noticed I have appeared twice, not sure why.

I think you may have spelt you name wrong on one of your clients, there is a Rinigho who has crunched 1,024 so far today, as well as yourself Ringiho who crunched 1,976. :)

Well spotted my friend! It turned out to be my E3 machine, changed the user. Lets get cracking again.

Thanks for the news dekez:)

Moved most of my cpu's to cpdn(not Hydra) you might need to watch your back Mr Dekez but i just cant tell on that project:p

 Thanks for the heads up nothing like a bit of competition :D although I think you're probably out gunning my 1/3 of a Q6600 :(
Bulldozer is nearly here though ;)

Ta for the news dekez, something odd happened yesterday. Dropped and SMP unit with HFM reporting it to be worth around 2.8k yet only got credited 8 points

You don't need either a SLI connector or a dummy plug for folding on multiple cards :)

I'll put my GTX460 seti's way for a couple of week TB unless it really affects the folding on that rig. ok? :)

Is there any need...? :p

Anyway, new motherboard arrived, when i get my watercooling loop sorted i'll get some crunching done (at last). Don't expect much though, maybe 3k folding PPD, E2140 & 8400GS?

I realise this is not the correct Forum for this question, but the people who's opinion I value frequent here more often than not......

I need to replace all the tubing/fittings on my CPU WC Loop.......

The 13/10mm tubing is not upto the job :(

Current set-up:

Asus REIII Rampage & EK Block
Watercool HK Rev.3 Special Edition CPU Block
3x120mm Rad
XSPC Single Drivebay Res
Laing 12v DDC-1Plus (inc Phobya Silver Nickel Top) - 18w Version

My question is:

What size tubing should I use to ensure the tube does not collapse on me again (due to the suction power of the pump)?

16/10mm or 16/11mm or 16/13mm.....

Also, what is the preferred method of securing the hose to a barbed fitting?

Jubilee Clip or Pipe Clamp or Tie Wrap.....

I don't really want to go any bigger than 16mm.

hi guys.
i have just started folding for OCN in the chimp challenge ;)
and now that its finished, i would like to carry on, on a part time basis.
i cant do 24/7 but around 12/7

where are the team details?
team number
passkey etc.... any thing else i may need?

i only have a Q6600 and a hd5850 but i was averageing 7-8000 PPD running SMP

Team number 10

Grab a passkey here

The PPD for the Q6600 sounds correct, Folding on the HD5850 is fairly inefficient compared to the equivalent Nvidia card so I'd leave it just folding on the CPU as the ATI card also holds back the CPU

If your worried about tubing collapse go for 16/10mm as the thicker wall will help prevent it.

What make of tubing was it? Sounds strange I use 13/10 with the same pump and never had any problems touch wood.

With regard to securing them I've tried all three, Jubilee clamp was the only one that has leaked on me, it was a pain if they don't tighten evenly so haven't used them again. I found clips easier than ties, but if you don't have the right size then ties work just as well.:)
