Slight problem with the news today in that for some reason the cron job copying the files didn't run this morning, so the news includes data up until now - slightly longer week this week.

That should help all of you who normally just miss out on tiffys before the cut :p

Next week will be slightly shorter and then back to normal. :)

Oh and congrats all on the team stomp!!!!!!!!!! :cool::cool::D:p
 
Stretching my neck out to stay ahead of loudbob on the PPD.. but only "just"

Been away all week and everything stayed up so far....

Probably not going to happen, my output is dependant on the WU's I get, I'm not going to throw more hardware/electric at it.

e.g. as of right now my two opteron rigs are putting out over 1 mil PPD but that could change with the next WU that comes along dropping me down to 750K or so. Thats how it flows, thats how we like it :)
 
I have started folding for the team, mainly because we currently have no heating, so my PC kicking out nice warm air is great :lol: I'm only at about 8000ppd but it all helps I guess :) Would be nice to see my GPU load over 35% though!

That is the fix, I found it elsewhere just now :)

GPU at a solid 100%, fans on 30% and 64°C GPU temp, sorted! :)

Edit: After a restart my PPD has gone up to ~13,300 :D Not bad for a fairly budget system that's pretty old now!

I'm using two - although switched to 'not on' atm (due to just having collected my new toy from BaBa :D ) and re-organising (6 pc's to do - need to decide what each will be doing)

The 3770K's are around:

i7 3770K @ 4.7GHz (7 Cores) - 26Kppd (on a good day)
i7 3770K @ 4.6GHz (7 Cores) - 25Kppd (on a good day)

This goes higher when the GPU's are 'not on' and higher still when using all 8 cores.

Looks like you've got a brief respite.....

I've only got the Opteron Rig running along with my Main Rig.

Going to rehouse my other 6 pc's, have a fresh install of O/S and set things off again.

Then I'm going to rehouse the Opteron Rig in a Xigmatek Elysium Case with some Noctua Coolers :D

I'm guessing this may take me some time....... :eek:
 
Steady progress but could be better. Finally stopped getting the poor 8043 units but now been getting equally poor 8070 and 8071 units in my GPU clients :( Ah well, gotta take the rough with the smooth. Still top of the single PC league; I'll have one more week there and then I'll be getting the second rig up and running with the 690 I bought from Biffa. I don't get home until Friday and I'll be busy the first couple of days so it'll be the start of next week before I get anything done with it. Production will probably be down for a day or 2 while I reconfigure rigs and test and set up but then, I'll be back bigger and better than before :D

Slight drop in team production again but not a huge amount. Nice to see one of BaBa's quad rigs staying in the team - well done loudbob :cool:

As always, thanks to Dekez for the news and a warm Foldy type welcome to the new members :)
