Hey all, down a bit this week but not by much, we have actually moved up a place in terms of production so what ever it is is hitting other teams as well.

Pretty happy with my performance this week - 5th place woo hoo, not been up here for a while!! I'm still edging my 460 clocks up slowly to find the edge of stabiliy, at 1750 on shaders so far, I'll see how they like 1800 tonight.

Oh and a tiffy as well :D

Second cruncher will be up and running tomorrow, so overall production should receive another quick jolt. Shame it is on a negative trend at the moment. :(
 
Thanks for the update Dezek.

New SLI MB is on the way and with my two 8800's running on that instead of the other used PC's it should stop the interruptions and help my PPD.
It will also give me 2 more gpu slots that in time will get filled. Those new 450's look interesting!
 
Think its the lack of bigadv wu's hitting everyones production. I know I get about 2-3 A3's for every bigadv at the moment.
 
Just tried 1800 on my 460 shaders and got an error straight away, looks like 1750 is fairly near the max they will go without adjusting the voltage.
 
Ah bugger... My main folder is in the shed and came home tonight to hear a loud vibration.
Turned off the PC and found a fragment of the fan on the 8800GS has broken up which is causing the fan to vibrate massively.
It's working fine but makes an almighty racket which I need to sort.
Anyone know what fan replacement options I might have?

Give it a blast, dekez. With a thermal sealing of 105C on these beasties, you will hardly run into problems upping the core voltage a bit. I had a quick browse of the reviews, and most folks seem to be getting well over 950Mhz core on the non reference samples; which means your 900 and hence 1800 shaders should be a cake to be had :D!
 
Not much to report from me this week. As I said last week, all but one of my rigs are down while I'm away at work. Sadly, it would appear most of the drop in team production is due to that - sorry guys :(

Any ideas whats causing your extreme heat issues marine?

Im currently low on production as I lost my A3 bonuses as I killed a few too many WUs when I was trying to firgure out what damage had been done by the dead board
 
I have a gay CPU/mobo simple as that or something else that is unexplainable and I can't be bothered to investigate further :)

I just want my rig doing something to keep it warm in here sod the heating :p
