:eek:Now thats impressive, try as i might and were talking a few days i cannot get the multiple instances of fah working right...yup i follow the guides to the letter but zilch. If theres a f@h expert in the area help....damnit i would even pay petrol :D

Well trying to claw back the defecit from last weeks news :(

Looks like its working, our 7 day avg is now up 191639 to 4,883,159 and our 24hr avg is 697,594 (up 27515)

Will have a rumble around and try to remember my password, the whole point of little"puke" that case you like so much was to fold, what with trying to forge ahead on seti and trying to get a foothold with Einstein the folding has been relegated to ps3 i'm afraid.
Now i am well aware of how much help i have drained from you guys and lord knows it must be tiresome for you but i would really appreciate the help with multiple f@h.
Not that i would ever be a threat in the stats but to know i had the process of to a t would be a real plus :D Am sure i could allways thank ye by way of a "mates rates" if i am ever selling something you fancy on mm ;)

I'm having trouble with folding on multiple GPU's.
Despite using seperate .exe's and seperate work folders and individual machine ID's and -gpu x parameters is still kills off the 2nd process complaining it is already running.

Production is right down now as I haven't got time to sort it, but another 8800GS has arrived today so when I get time my production will increase.

I'll be folding on 3 8800GS's. Would it be better to sell them on and buy 1 260/450 or similar?

Email as I understand you create multiple shortcuts rather than .exe file then in the target box in the shortcut properties add -gpu 0 etc.

I may well be wrong as I dont multi gpu fold so I'm sure somebody with more experience can help if I'm wrong

If they are in separate folders and have -gpu 0 and -gpu 1 they should be fine. I had a similar random problem where it would sometimes say the process was already running, it was suggested I use the -local flag as well and that seems to have worked so may be worth trying that. If not maybe post up the log from start up to error and someone might spot something.
