Best wishes to Sculptor and your family. FWIW a schoolfriend of my wife's had MS for many years but took a late degree in Law after having a child then had a successfull career as a court clerk. It was only in her late forties that the MS became an obvious problem and she was well into her fifties when she passed away.

Thanks for the offer rich - but I think I'll need to drive up this week.
I'll visit the grandparents (barnley) so it's no major problem, just could do without the drive.

Edit - for anyone that was wondering it's a passive watercooler setup that need collecting (Keep checking the rearview Cob :D)

grrrr - work may get in the way of the news tomorrow :o

hopefully I'll be able to get some form of internet connection tomorrow night without resorting to paying through the nose to mister travelodge for the privilege, hopefully there will be a free and legal wifi connection nearby that won't mind some mild usage :p

I hope I can get a connection tomorrow one way or another, the Little Chef next door is supposed to be a WiFi hotspot though whether that's intentional or accidental I don't know :p
 
Some machine is still crunching somewhere - I have no idea which one!! Ah well at least I'm still contributing somewhere!! lol! Sorry I can't help out anymore lost access to my xeons since changing jobs. Nice to see we're doing so well though :cool: With Sirius doing over 25k now I think I would have lost my battle with him though I did achieve a few peaks higher than that. :p

Is that from one machine jaric? If so it is impressive.

Quad + 2 borgs.

The 2 borgs are 2.8 P4s running the standard client giving about 250ppd combined.

The other 4500ppd comes from the quad:D
 
If I can get my Quad up to 3.5GHz this week I should be on around 4.5K PPD :)

Hopefully have my server running by Christmas too.

Have E6600, Cooler, Case, HDD and DVD-RW

Just need RAM and Mobo.

I think I want a better mobo and RAM for my quad, so will most likely hand the P5B Deluxe and GeIL PC-5400 to the E6600. Guaranteed 3.3GHz with that combo :D
