I'm getting to the stage now where I'm going to start switching the farm "not on" whilst I'm away as I spend the whole time worrying about what the problem is when stuff like this happens.

Yay my first week isnt too bad :D second highest in the single machine crunchers! Im getting really bad luck because I keep getting these 380-390 pointers with 50,000,000 steps! I've had 4 already, Im crunching through 2 more :mad: I want the 600 pointers :(

Trust me you want the 364 pointers. ;)

Without advmethods I've been getting loads of 600 pointers. Then rich dropped this bombshell:

Same problem as Beenom here (and many other folders), ridiculous amounts of 396 pointers :( . Gonna go with Rich for a couple of days, but might have to go back.
 
It's still a lottery either way I'm afraid - probably best not to put all your eggs into one basket anyway

Most of my machines are still on beta - the majority of which are now getting normal p21xx WUs :( though one still seems to be getting the 364 pointers
Another machine is on -advmethods and has a 364 pointer :cool:
My latest machine which I just got running the other night is still on no flags and has currently got a 600 pointer :)
 
All my machines, and possibly a borg, are all crunching 600 pointers. I may change one of my clients over to -advmethods and see what I get. If the WUs are good and the 600 pointers start to dry up I may slowly move the rest of my machines back to -advmethods.

even the one's that have want more of them - greed is a cunning sin at the best of times, be greatfull for what you have, many have less. :( and the ones with more are folding by your side - Go team 10 :D
 
I'll have my conroe in less than 6 months!

Also, I may have just roped in an E6600 user to start folding. Lucky for you guys I think he wants to fold for himself. But either way it will be another overclocked Core 2 Duo for the team :D

Anyone want to send/buy me a Tuniq Tower 120?

I can get another 400+mhz out of this baby but temps are over 65C :(

oh and a new DVD drive while your at it *wistles*, rich99 will explain :p
