Hello,
Ive only just started folding with OcUK and am very new to it all. i use to do it a lot on my PS3 a year ago.

After folding for an hour or so a day for 3 days ive almost completed my first Work unit but i have 2 questions.

Looking at my stats on FAH, my score is still at 0, does this only update once the work unit is completed?

Sencond is, i used the standard instalation of FAH, it runs 2 work units at once and puts my CPU at 100% load. when i switch to expert mode and pause one of the WU, i was hoping i could use all of my CPU to complete the WU fasted but with one WU paused and only running the other my CPU is only under 20% or so. Is there a way to use 100% CPU load all on one WU? i also have a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6950 2048MB graphics card. can i direct all my CPU and GPU onto one WU?

Thanks

Once the first unit is completed and uploaded - your stats will update. Might take a few hours to refresh mind you.

Also cpu units and gpu units are different and can't not be worked across each other.

If you used the standard installation then you should have your cpu folding @ 100% and your gpu folding at 100%.

What cpu do you have?

....that was with bonus points :D think the base for that bad boy was 220 ish. Think i'm up to 38 WU's completed now.

i seem to have just had a run with bad WU's recently. Part of me doesnt mind as 1) its time on my machine I'm not using for anything else and 2) part of me is glad to be doing something to help research cures for stuff like huntingtons etc........just some better WU's would be nice :D

you might want to give details of your system. Basically its down to the hardware your using that determines how fast the WU's complete (as far as I can tell)

That's it exactly, the faster you CPU the quicker it folds.

coops1992, the client will tell you what you points per day (PPD) is for the CPU and GPU, the total of both is at the top.

Not sure how much an i5 will do, my i7 does 18,000 at stock.

ive got an i5 2500K 3.30Ghz and a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6950 2048MB, 16GB RAM Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard.

Im not expected to be competitive to be honest, i dont have the time or money for my electric build to fold 24/7. Will be folding for 5-8 hrs a day just as a hobby

Well my i5 750 at stock plus 6970 does circa 12-13k a day.

apart from when it picks up Project 7809 stuff for the cpu- that's brutal! 1.4 days to complete!

at the end of the day it all adds to the team and helps find cures so anything you can do is a great help!

you rig is pretty much the same as mine except my CPU is oc'd to 4.5ghz. On this rig with my 6950 at stock i'm gettin aroudn 10-11k ppd

I just started today

joined team 10 as wildman

I have read the sticky but I still have no idea how to make the sig abnner that displays the stats for me and the team. Am I missing something boviosu here. When i tried it said no user could be found, but in the FAH client I can see my user name wildman and team 10 assigned at the bottom ?
