Hi, just a quick question, I'm running FAHCORE one 2 systems, one of which is a dual core. one machine has the folding user name I wanted - KALIBR(OcUK) the 2nd has changed both usernames to KALIBR_(OcUK), is it normal for the programe to auto change the usernames? And how can I correct, CREDIT WHORE! :p

Stop f@h and then run it again using the -configonly option. Will allow you to check and change the settings. Then you can restart the client normally once you are happy.

You probably accidently put a space between KALIBR and (OcUK). The client doesn't like spaces so will replace with a "_" [underscore].

Just do as MGP has suggested, and make sure you don't put a space in.

If the incorrect clients have started a WU, they wont be credited to KALIBR(OcUK) even if you change the username. A WU is stamped with the username being used when it was downloaded.

I thought it was like this as well. However a chat a while back with Uncle fungus straightened me out. The WU will credit to the username in use when the WU is submitted. The server tracks who downloaded it but that's not used for crediting purposes.

Are you sure? I remember changing my username back to SiriusB_[OcUK] during a WU [after I had donated my GPU to Freefaller for a day]. I was hoping I would be credited with the WU but it went to Freefaller.
