The swine has spent nearly £400 on my gf's card before we could get it cancelled, all at a website called www.clickandbuy.com, mostly for sums of £30 at a time, causing her to go £200 into her overdraft

have emailed the company involved, rang the bank again, still trying to get the MSN account back and hopefully have caught him off guard to have emails in there or soemthing with his details on that he has not deleted.

Luckily the mortgage and bills comes out of my account, and she gets paid weekly, so beans on toast it is for a few weeks, or until we can at least get the money back :(

That's just pure unlucky! :(

I would seriously change all your passwords to something secure.

her dad once had his details stolen, and the person started using a gambling site, as soon as 2 or 3 transactions come out in quick succesion the bank pick up on this in ring you straight away, luckily he won so her dad was up :p lol

How did hacking your hotmail account let them spend money?

she obviously had an email in there somewhere or could possibly have been a virus on computer with keylogger or something, really have no idea, cant have been on my computer or laptop, otherwise he would have had mine, which has a considerable larger amount of money in it, but then again so does her mums, but hers is fine and those are the only 3 computers she has used, so thats what made us think emails

she didnt directly put anything to do with her bank or bank details into her emails,

any invoices or anything star all your number out apart from the last 4 numbers, which im sure cant be used

could have possibly been some sort of virus i really dont know, or something completly different, just when she couldnt sign into MSN thats when something clicked

Hopefully click and buy would provide you with an address the items purchased were sent to (paper trail). Presumably the individual, and I use that term loosely, had your girlfriend's card security number?

possibly but its worrying me how, could have been one of these machiens they put over cash machines or whatever, but then how did they get the email

apparantly hes ordered us an xbox 360 form his own money...ill believe that when one turns up at my door :p

worrying me a little because he obviously has our address now as well :(

we have had the email now where you have to put in all the details of your account, filled it in last night so waiting for a reply to that today hopefully :)

still no reply to the email just yet

vixen - the grand national thats jut gone i uploaded like £10 each day of the meetings, and my bank had rang me 3 days into it worried of suspicious activity :p

Habbo hotel?

My little sister plays that, she is ten!

Find out his username then post it here and we can all sign up and track him down on habbo hotel and do something funny

hes not really left any trace of anything, i only know he used it for that because of the receipts in the email which i had to search for...still looking though through all the junk emails and everything will let you know ;)

i dont believe it, we managed to get the account back, change the password the security question the alternate email and everything, only to find today, its gone again!!!!!

we need to be able to get in just to redirect everything to a different email, as quite frankly she wont be using hotmail anymore

STUPID ******* HOTMAIL!!!!

having it hacked once, ok possible but having it back a day and then it going again is just ridiculous, i want to know how the little **** is doing it!!

Got to be something local then, he's getting your passwords from your machine.

think that one could possibly be the alternate email address thing, not sure, going to do a full format of the laptop when my RAM gets back from being replaced, and then doing a full format of the PC as well and starting from scratch on everything
