Anyway to get Foobar to work with embedded album art yet?

Wanna use it but this is holding me back, without album art nearly all the skins look crap.

try asking/looking on the hydrogenaudio forums. those guys are the ones who know foobar inside out and write all the plugins etc.

Ah yeah had a look on there, a plugin for id3tag embedded art is out but it doesn't seem to be compatible with any of the configs I've tried.

Just installed Foobar2000, it's great as I can use the crossfeed plugin for headphones... Saves me having to buy more kit.

The one I've got works as long as you have the cover in your directory called "folder.jpg"

Is there anywhere you can download "full plugins" so you don't have to set anything up, maybe snapshots of the foobar folder?

Damn, reading about it now - I'm very tempted to try this as a real alternative to Winamp which I've been a daily user for almost 10 years now.

Can you easily navigate an mp3 player (hardware) using foobar? (I don't have an ipod - I've a Phillips MP3 player instead).

edit - reading about it on Wikipedia - the guy who created it used to contract for Nullsoft...

Might not be as fancy as the Panels ones but it's configured exactly how I want - form over function, but I don't think it looks too bad.

I did try the ones posted above before I knew how to configure it but didn't get on with them.

I use folder.jpg. Embedded works well too but is more effort (and doesn't look as good when browsing folders in windows.)

All my art is embedded due to my iPod reading it like that, but I could never get it to work with Foobar!

Yes- never had a problem with it. My MP3 collection has embedded album art due to my MP3 player needing it like that. Not sure about my FLAC collection started using folder.jpg at the same time. I can't imagine it being any different though.
