Or I want a teaspoon of something, I have a teaspoon. I have a set of cups, why not use them.
The problem is that cups can mean one thing in one recipe and another thing in another recipe. Then you get recipes that use cups to measure some things and grams/etc to measure other ingredients, making the proportions annoying to work out/be accurate with.
A cups a cup. There aren't different meanings, only people not knowing what to do.
As for recipes. That's usually someone combining recipes together and is pretty rare.
For example when you see some of my cooking threads, there's chances it'll have mixed measurements as its an adjusted or evolved recipe.

I smashed my iPad by dropping a spice bottle on it. One that is water and temprature resistant would be great, can be wiped clean with a sponge.
Would be nice to see how it handles recipes, there's a subscription for their recipes. But can you import or add others.
