Fergie to park the bus for a 0-0 borefest?

Probably :(

going to the pub shortly to watch the match - really hope its a good one.

With Rio out (Smalling is a v.decent stand in though) and a so-so right back (I doubt Rafael will play but he could do), against Tevez, Silva, and who ever else, I dont think Utd can afford to park the bus (even if we had the midfield players to effectively do it)

Questions over Fletcher's ankle - Scholes's durability and any one on the left wing ahead of Evra (cant see Giggs doing it) ......

Probably thru the middle something like

Berba

Rooney Carrick Scholes Anderson Nani

would be my guess (unless Fletcher is ok, but I sispect not) - sounds like Park is out for a month with a hamstring strain also ):

Wil be a long match I suspect (especially if Chicherito isnt available at all due to international flight only landing yesterday)

Can't say I watch many teams in the Premiership other than Liverpool but the few times I've seen him play he seems like a superstar in the making. Why doesn't Fergie play him more?

Cant be upsetting Rooney now can we... :/

Then again, you could play Rooney as a central midfielder, he's there most of the time anyway :p

He's made 27 apps, Rooney has made 20, Berbatov has made 28 in all comps.

He's made more league apps than Rooney also by 1.

He hasnt looked so great when starting - more through lack of experience than anything I think, which is why Fergie prefers to use him against tired (defensiive) legs lol

I also think its possibly something to do with putting too much pressure on such young shoulders - which I personally agree with. dont want to burn him out when he is just starting (as he hasnt ever experienced European football, start him slow is best bet imo)

7 EPL starts out of 17 apps for Chicharito so far 1 / 5 in Europe

Berba 22/1
Rooney 16/2

(EPL)

How many starts has he made? I'd guess not very many compared to the other two.

He has made 7 starts, 10 sub.

Rooney made 14 starts, 2 sub.

But as Frank has said above, he hasn't been as impressive when starting and has been better when coming off the bench. He has popped up and scored important goals.

I wouldn't expect him in his first season to be starting consistently with Rooney & Berbatov in the side - he is playing a good amount of minutes though.

Chico has also scored in all comps I think.
