**Football 5th-9th Mar 2010/2011

Hutton shown up good and proper by Jarvis, we're desperately missing Charlie's solidity.

Great game for the purists.

First 10 or 15 it was looking like a dud, soon as wolves gameplan kicked in it was like a game of chess. All good at halftime, second half it became a little more streched, spurs were getting a better percentage of the game higher up the pitch as wolves workrate dropped off a little.

Like how it played out, with spurrs not being able to overplay it, you could say you'd see the best of defoe and pav... they both strike the ball as well as anyone, chanced and proved it today.

Well played to both teams, much to enjoy without the heavy scoreline, all the better for it:)

:(

A month ago we hadn't lost a game now we've lost 3

Rubbish performance albeit Liverpool should had been down to 9 men for the untire second half. Doubt it would have made a difference anyway though we were that poor today

Thank god we're at home next and thank god for Sunderland and thank god that our only real title threat is Arsenal

Serious investment needs to be made to the squad in the summer :(

Should only blame yourself for jinxing your team:p
Were did you get 9 men from?

Carragher should have been off for liverpool, rafael for utd with a two footed lunge.

Maxi was a little late but it was a little reckless. It was not malicious like carraghers/rafaels. Rafael just carried on like nothing happened before he went in two footed.

Rafael went in with one foot and didn't touch Lucus, Maxi left visible stud marks on Rafel which the pictures prove

Um both of rafaels feet were off the ground - the last time i checked that was a red card offence. The challenge that Maxi did happens every day on a five a side pitch - common when a player just beats another to it

As a Manchester United fan, Liverpool were exceptional today - fully deserved the win.

I don't get the comments about Fergie being rubbish or the wheels coming off though, we're still top of the league. If we were in Chelsea's position or even worse, outside the Champions league qualification spots, then I could see where you were coming from.

The squad could do with bolstering up, I agree but, every team has the same issue. I see fans on here from all teams saying "we could do with another x,y,z player in the next transfer market".

We've done well this season considering our team is considerably worse this year versus previous seasons.

Unfortunately, our finances are not in the best of positions and the likes of Man City have inflated player prices.

Ah so predictable, if knew what you were talking about Maxi should have gone for his stud on the thigh attempt at a tackle before Rafel went in and failed to even tough Lucus which was a yellow at worst

Try again lad

No problem son, didn't think you could see reason.
