  11. Is debt in football a problem? Yes. My club is in a horrible state away from the pitch (were not that much better on the pitch :p) but it's ruining football.

  14. Who's the best player you've seen play? Giggs / Scholes / Keano in their prime (who I saw live) Ronaldo was good saw him quite a few times. Messi on the telly.

The bloke that sits next to me at The Emirates with one phone against his ear talking to someone and another in his hand for texting. He probably watches the match for about 5 minutes each game.

Don't get me started - Tony Pulis is my current pet hate. Add him to the list of Fat Sam, JT, Rio, half the England squad.

A massive problem. This is what happens when clubs are allowed to roam in a truly capitalistic nature. Few clubs have managed their benefits along with their downsides.
EPL, La Liga & Bundesliga mainly. Sometimes Serie A but not a fan of it atm.
Both are good. Live for atmosphere and going with mates. At home for the warmth, a beer and putting my feet up.
Zidane, though Messi is fast approaching if he keeps it up!

  9. Do you think the amount of foreign players are damaging the English set up? - I think most high profile foreign players help the game. It's the cheap foreign players taking the spots of potentially good local players that is more of a problem (as my immediate thought).
  10. Do you think football violence is a problem in England? - Not like it used to, certainly not in the 20 years or so I've attended games.
  11. Is debt in football a problem? - I don't like that teams can buy success with debt they cannot manage.

  5. Whats the best stadium you have been to? That's a hard question to answer. I haven't been to many PL away match so it's either the new Wembley or WHL.

  7. Do you think enough is being done for youth football in this country? No, but it's not all about money. Not enough is done to encourage technical players. There's too much focus on matches and competition at a young age. It breeds hard working, aggressive players with limited skills.
  8. Do you think the Premier League is the best in the world? If not which is? Yes. Barcelona and Real Madrid are better teams but the overall quality of the PL is higher.
  9. Do you think the ammount of foreign players are damaging the English set up? No. Statistically, England's results were no better before foreign players started playing in large numbers in England.
  10. Do you think football violence is a problem in England? In the last 5 years of going to games, I've only seen Chelsea fans acting like hooligans of old. Certain clubs have a problem with violence but most are family friendly these days.
  11. Is debt in football a problem? Yes. Poor management is usually to blame.I don't think it's a problem that will ever go away unless we move to an American franchise model (which is unlikely to workable).
  12. Which leagues do you watch? Premier League mostly. Highlights from the European big leagues and the lower English leagues.
  13. Watching football, Live or on the television? Live. It's weird but I feel helpless and very nervous when I watch games on TV.
  14. Who's the best player you've seen play? Seen in the flesh? It pains me to say it but when Berbatov was on form, he was an absolute joy to watch. On TV, Zidane.
  15. Whats your pet hate in football? Carp ex-player pundits who bleat clichés and never do any proper research before games.

Yes and no. I think without them, clubs would be forced to develop British talent. But then, clearly something's wrong at a higher level.

Undoubtedly so. Probably the biggest problem currently in football.

EPL mainly, although if I catch some Spanish or Italian football on TV i'll generally watch it.

Never been able to afford to go see any of the EPL teams, so TV for me. Hoping that'll change soon.

Liverpool - their fans generally think they're entitled to trophies based on success three decades ago.
Any team that goes to OT and raises it's game, yet runs out at the Emirates/Stamford Bridge and rolls over, effectively giving the other team three free points. Conversely the opposite as well. I want the league to be the best team winning, not the team who got lucky with other teams' effort.

Nope, clubs are relying far too much on foregin youth systems, rather than spending money on their own.
