Football Fixtures 27-28th September *Spoilers*

Newcastle have looked disjointed over the past few weeks but they've still been creating some good chances. Now that Robbo's out for two weeks we've not got our first choice keeper for tomorrows game, or the Man Utd game and either Jason Brown or Mark Bunn are going to have to step up. Brown was alright against Everton however in most of the games i've seen him in, he's had some shaky moments.

I'd like to think we'll come away with a win tomorrow but every club that seems to be having a bad patch always seems to get a result against us. West Ham a couple of seasons ago springs to mind (with 2 goals from the then ineligible Carlos Tevez). I'd be happy with a draw.

The Everton Liverpool derby today. As a Liverpool fan it's a no win game.

You win, the Everton fans say 'Well you should have won given the amount of money you have spent', amongst other rantings about European bans and how they are the true Club in Liverpool.

You loose, the Everton fans say 'Look at all that money you spent and you can't beat us'

You draw, the Everton fans say 'Look at all that money you spend and you can't beat us'

My least favourite fixture of the year to be honest. Was good when Everton were a rival to us but as they have become a smaller and smaller club over the years the importance of the game has diminished ;)

Massive derby today. So exciting! Nerves haven't kicked in yet.

Portsmouth v Tottenham is going to be very intriguing. 2 teams with indifferent starts to the campaign. Portsmouth need to ease another centre back in really instead of Campbell. Hes now 34 I think and looks past it. It doesn't have that commanding presence for me anymore. Kaboul looks decent on the ball but they like to stick him in the middle of the park with Diarra. May be they don't trust him in the back 2?

We don't call them the bitters for nothing :P

After his reasonable performance last week, I wouldnt bet against Saha scoring the winner today (after all he left Man Utd on reasonable terms and seems pretty happy at Everton)

More points dropped for Liverpool must be a good thing, although I dont really care as long as Utd get all three points at home :D

The Liverpool team in full: Reina, Arbeloa, Dossena, Carragher, Skrtel, Alonso, Gerrard, Kuyt, Riera, Keane, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Agger, Hyypia, Aurelio, Pennant, Babel, Lucas.

Same team that played Stoke. Masch is injured.

Looks a strong team and Kuyt's workrate will actually be of use for once. Worried about the fitness of Torres and the lack of form of Keane so I think we'll be relying on Gerrard again.

Set pieces will be the key in this game. We're one of the worst teams I've ever watched at set pieces and Everton have been shocking at defending them. Something has to give.

The fact that Riley is a top level referee is a depressing reflection on the quality of officials in the game today. We're the country that created football, we have arguably the best league in the world, yet we can't get the rules right.

Everton have been nothing short of a disgrace going forward. Does Moyes not have the ability to coach his players just to put their foot on the ball and play a nice simple pass. Instead its lump, lump, lump and yes you've guessed it LUMP.

No big fan of Liverpool as you would guess, but at least they are trying to play the ball on the floor

Yawn. Game started well but turned crap after 20 minutes or so.

Our left looked pretty good for a spell but the right is misfiring yet again. Neither Kuyt nor Arbeloa have got a cross in them.

Keane's trying far too hard and Torres seems happier to complain than get stuck in.

Everton seem happy to smack it long and fall over.

Games crying our for a goal and I wouldn't be surprised if it came from a non existent penalty thanks to Riley.

The game is crying out for Moyes to take his bug eyes and ginger 'fro and his brand of poor football elsewhere. Never liked him as a player and certainly not a fan of the football he churns out week in week out.

It never ceases to amaze me just how awful Everton are each and every game, yet Moyes gets praise heaped upon him.

I cant understand this 4-5-1 set up he has here either, Yakubu is making no impression agaisnt liverpools back 4, he has no support and no service, and he seems perfectly happy to just leave it at that and just delay getting beaten for as long as possible.
