Not at all. As usual he ran his ******* off and suprisingly kept possesion really well too. He also kept Lescott back in Everton's half (who caused us problems last season) for the best part of the game.
He gave the ball away a countless amount of times, his passing had a 20% success rate, selling players short constantly and when he did find a player he played it behind. When receiving the ball he was slow and cumbersome, slowing our quick attacks right down.
The only good thing he did all game was create space for the first goal. It was his total lack of speed and finishing ability that luckily enabled Torres to score the 2nd goal, he's shouldn't be credited for that. Lescott has been **** so far this seasons so that's no biggie.
I'm staggered so many in here think he was our best player, I can name loads who all played better.
