Football....how boring

Stop stalking me Gilly ;)

Rugby :

Action - Excitement - Violence - Chasing a ball - lots of drinking down the pub afterwards

Football :

Chasing a ball - Very little violence - Lots of hooliganism

Actually Golf is the biggest game in this country and in the world. Something i personally find quite disturbing.

Rugby is actually a very highly skilled game. Each player has to know their job off by heart. There are more angles to it than Football. Ie Scrums/Throw-ins. And somehow i fail to see men running around hugging each other when im playing. Im seeing men being tackled to the ground, having their jaws/bones broken. Thuggery?! Skill....U want to know how to take a 18st man down when there charging towards you? Learn how to rugby tackle properly. They'll go down like a stone.

Football is nothing more than an excuse for highly paid Footballers going round thinking their special because they run around all day trying to avoid hurting each other. Anyone can kick a ball. Takes a lot more skill to kick/throw/pass a ball whilst all the time avoiding being tackled to the ground. See how fast you run when you have about 6 players chasing after you trying to take u down. Way more exhilarating and exciting than football. Especially where nowadays the majority of the 'skilled/best' players in this countries teams come from completely different countries. Real men play rugby. If u want to die of boredom, play football.

Ahh piffle. In the end it comes down to personal preference. Some prefer the mans sport (rugby) and others prefer football. My preference is obvious....foo...rugby. ;)

Typical football players, So biased and prejudiced :o

"Rugby's for shirt-lifters"

Could easily just reply with "Go beat up some innocent opposition fans just because your team lost"

Lol, a free kick in Rugby is pretty hard. You have to take it a fair distance away from the posts which are elevated in the air. Not stuck low on the ground. Then when you get the height and power right you have to contend with the wind in mid-air. I would very much like to see a 'top' football player try and manage a Free Kick in Rugby. I have no doubt that Rugby players would probably be pretty decent at taking a free kick in football.

In your opinion. Only ppl that support you are the 'football' players. The Rest seem to be on the side of Rugby. Looks about 50/50 to me atm for supporters. Like i said before, it's all personal preference. Each has good sides and bad sides. Both require differnent types of skill, different levels of playing. They are completely different games, maybe they started off similar but now they are unique.
