Sacked after five games?

Not as extreme as getting sacked no but failing to win all 3 games against Chelsea, Liverpool & City could be pretty detrimental for the rest of the league season (Swansea away on the first day is hardly a doodle either)

Rough start ahead for Moyes. :p

Indeed, pretty brutal start to your season especially with a new manager at the helm...even for City its a tough start having to play you as they have Pellegrini in charge and hes relatively unknown in the EPL.

Happy with Arsenal getting Villa as our first game, should be 3 pts but then with Arsenal you just dont know:p

Got to feel Sorry for Liverpool Chelsea and Cteh all having to play the Champions before October. Bring It !!!

'Oh Moyes out after five games'

Yeah Yeah of course.

Away at WBA, really pleased with that as it's a good day out, wont be moved for tv and they wont have sir Lukaku to break it for us.

Man United at home last day of the season will be a good laugh too :D

Could be that they've wrapped up the league by that point and will rest players for their upcoming FA Cup final... or they need a win on the last day to rescue the title! :p

Train tickets bought for the opener - is their anything more romantic in football than Port Vale away?

Also had a nightmare on our new ticketing site - couldn't log in so had to create a new registration and then saw that my season ticket seat had been taken. Cue a mad hour of ranting and raving about the powers that be... obviously it had been reserved by the old ticket site registration and it was being held for me anyway! Idiot :(

Vale away is living the dream, mostly with an excuse to see Lee Hughes play... (and hear some tasteless chanting)

I think the ticketing thing has happened to every single club over the last few years that have upgraded to one that works. Ours last year had the same problem, it forgot all the history of people who went to silly games in the champ/L1 which wasn't very nice of them.

Don't agree with the chanting,as I think it trivialises the whole thing, but that doesn't stop Lee Hughes from being a complete ****. Away at Notts Co. the season before last Uwe got sent off for some genuine lols, and Lee Hughes ran the length of the pitch to get right up into his face and wave goodbye to him. What a douchebag.

Although the sending off was one of the funniest things I've seen in football - Alan Sheehan was taking a free kick on the halfway line and his run up resulted in him standing in Uwe's technical area... so Uwe promptly stood in front of him and blocked his run up! Claiming that he was entitled to because he didn't need to be 10 yards from the ball. Sheehan wasn't happy but Martin Allen lost the plot and went mental. Notts fans went crazy, Bees fans fell about laughing.

The ref came over, had a word, and then Uwe does it again once the ref has walked back onto the pitch. Ref comes back, has a word, so Uwe moves but fakes to trip up Sheehan when he starts his run up. Uwe gets warned, does it again and gets sent off. Lots of "WAHEY!" from the away fans for five minutes, then lots of lols, then lots of... "That was never a penalty! Ah crap...".

Donaldson off the underside of the bar from 35 yards rescued the point though - funny old game :)

You shouldn't have any problems, our pre-season has been pretty woeful and we still have no wingers. Bad times.

We have had a pretty good preseason, but on Saturday we looked really undercooked tbh...plus, for some bizarre reason, we have a friendly vs Norwich tomorrow. Never known a preseason friendly that close to the season!

Yeah so do we, in Ireland. I think it's today actually.

I don't read much into Pre-season really but it would be nice to go into the first game with some winds under out belt, especially wins at Elland Road.

I don't think we will lose many at ER mind.

Yeah good news, scored a lot against us. It makes me sad watching replays of that game at your place a couple of seasons back, 3-3 when we 2-0 up, so many of my fave players and I loved the kit :D

Diouf is suspended for the game on Saturday...and I just realised that it is for the red card he got against us last season:p

I'd be happy with a point tbh, Leeds aren't in great shape atm, but McDermott is no fool and Leeds do seem to have something over us.

Just been reading some season previews, and everyone seems to have written us off...fine by me;).

Some of the views are bizarre though! I think it is FourFourTwo(possibly) that has Reading/Bolton promoted, with Leeds, Charlton, Forest and Ipswich(!) in the play-offs, with us finishing 11th...above Watford and QPR(with the same team that finished 4th last year, and topped the 2nd half league table!)

I'd be amazed if Watford were anywhere near as far down as 12th come the end of the season - playoffs at least!
