Football Manager 2021

Strikerless do work well this year, but to be fair it is fairly easy this year to create something simple and win.

I am currently 3rd season with Newcastle. Finished 4th in the first season and 2nd last year - will give the title challenge a real good go this year. All with a very basic 4-2-3-1.

I am sure strikerless works really well, but there is no need to use it.

I play level 20 mate, something simple and win isn't really an option!

Totally agree which is why I said it's sad they've exploited a flaw in the match engine. Intriguing nontheless - the match engine in the greatest football management simulation since the dawn of time is still so bad that the most effective tactic is to play with no strikers. The joys of being a computer game programmer...
There has been a weakness in pretty much every version particularly if you are willing to play odd formations I remember all sorts of reverse Christmas tree’s back in the CM days. I guess they don’t test the game as much with odd unrealistic tactics as they do with your basic 442 etc as most people at least want the game to look a little like real football!

Ohh just noticed this is on gamepass, i'll give it a go! Last FM game i played was FM18!

Going to start as Leeds and just survive relegation with no idea what i'm doing :D
