i was going to get it, but i decided not to as it still seems to have some of the same annoying issues that haven't been fixed.

couple of examples

1) player runs through on goal with a defender chasing him, then decides instead of shooting he's going to run off to the corner flag then turn round and pass it back for someone to cross

2) players who in 1) won't shoot are more than willing to keep trying their luck from 30+ yds throughout the game even though they keep getting closer to the corner flag than the goal.

Sounds like you are playing as Man Utd /drumriff

I am very much enjoying this, although the bloke who tells you the press conference "went fine" AFTER EVERY BLEEDIN' PRESS CONFERENCE should be sackable.

I thought I'd have another dabble at this after playing quite a bit last year on game pass. I always saved my games in the cloud, I've gone onto today and although it's remembered my manager profile (clothes and such) not of my saved games are there? Do Microsoft delete them after a while or something?

That's exactly what used to happen when playing as manager in Sensible Soccer for the Amiga. It even had a 30 yard super kick when actually playing.

I don't think they delete them, I have a couple of games on there I haven't played for a while. No chance you've changed the default save location?

Yup, even had a backup of the SI directory, I don't understand it

I just reinstalled it and loaded a game from the cloud dated 13th Jan - worked fine. Don't think they get deleted.
