Football *Spoilers* 8th-9th March

We only need MU to drop points if we beat the pair of them and they've still got you, Villa and Arsenal to play:)

I'd rather you won it than Utd (for obvious reasons) or Arsenal (got a £50 bet with my gooner mate) but i can't see it happening. Just can't see Utd dropping more points than you between now and the end of the season as well as you beating them.

Probably not, but as I said I think we have a chance now whereas when we drew with Pompey then 'Pool we were out of it:)

Crikey another dismal draw for Arsenal, we really are starting to shoot ourselves in the foot...3 draws in a row now...pathetic really when we should have easily turned those teams over. 3 measly pts is all we can manage now:(. I was hoping that the CL win earlier this week would have kick started our run in for the title but honestly at this point i cant really see us winning unless Man Utd or Chelsea start dropping points. I mean FFS we are dropping points against teams that are literally fighting to stay up:p.

Dont mind winning both the Prem and CL but id rather us win the CL tbh as no one really gave us a chance of leading the Prem league let alone win it. Plus we havent won the CL yet...

Why's everyone suprised at the Arsenal result.. they're well known for bottling it when they travel up here ;)

That's a good point actually, it would be interesting to see Arsenal's record this season when they play outside of London as I remember somebody telling me that they tend not to do so well outside London.

Disappointed with the draw against Fulham to be fair. Nice to see Gamst scoring, hopefully this will help him turn his game around as hes been very quiet this year. Hearing a lot of debate over the Bullard goal though, apparently as it was an indirect free kick, the ball had to travel one yard before he could legally touch it again, which he didn't. Not sure if that rule is true or not, but we shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. If we really want that European spot this year we need to be picking up 3 points and going into the final 10 with a 1 goal margin is rarely enough to secure a 3 points for us.

Just got back from the Wigan game, really disappointed with our performance and we just can't play against teams who close us down quickly.

Bendtner was awful and so was Gilberto. Hopefully V.Persie will come back into good form as we need goals from somewhere.

On an brighter note, Wrexham beat Chester 2-0, get in! :D

Credit to the West Ham fans who travelled to White Hart Lane today. It's good to see fans who can take a pummelling with such humour.

At half time they were singing "You're gonna win 4-0" and "You're **** if you don't score four". :D

Also, Dean Ashton chased every single ball in the Spurs half. West Ham could do with a few more players with his spirit.
