I sort of assumed that, for the purposes of this question, being British/Irish includes anyone who is eligible to play for any British Isles nation, and has not played for any other nation...

Same. I thought we were talking about players who aren't English, Scottish, Welsh, or from any part of Ireland.
He scored the second ever Premiership goal, which makes it almost guarenteed that he played in the opening weekend.
MLT is a bit of a tricky one.... although Guernsey isn't officially part of the UK he's not one of the names I'm looking for
Sinclair was born in England and hadn't been capped in 1992, therefore as explained above, for the purposes of this question, he's English

Harkes isn't one of the names I've got, as mentioned proving otherwise could be tricky though without teamsheets
