and all legal with an official ART Sports card.

ART are not licensed to sell cards for use outside of certain arabic countries the same as sky cannot , legally , accept subscriptions from outside the UK ( and Ireland ) . However there is doubt over whether the user is commiting any offence as long as there is no public broadcast

True but try and find a bar in Europe that hasn't got a SKY card.
I don't think Murdoch minds though.
At one time pubs in this country were being fined about £5000 for showing saturday afternoon football with another card but I think somebody has just won a case against SKY.
I can't find the link.

So basically, Setanta will be charging around £50 for the season ticket the same as Sky charged for the past few years?

Bloody Santanta, their coverage is rubbish.

For many years I've had a one metre dish pointed at satellites and on 13E are channels by the Arabic ART Sports. There are four sports channels and on a saturday afternoon all four channels will show four different premier matches with english commentary. They also show saturday dinner, saturday teatime, sunday 2pm, sunday 4pm, monday 8pm etc and all legal with an official ART Sports card.

Tomorrow it shows these live :
Arsenal v Wigan
Aston Villa v Sunderland
Manchester Utd v Charlton
Newcastle v Chelsea
West Ham v Tottenham

If i had a sky dish......would it need to be repositioned to use an art sports card?
