Footy or Girlfriend?

maybe get a bit of a poll going here cem?? :)

youve got a choice of a typical league/cup/champions league group game (not semi/final etc) or doing something with your loved one...which one do you choose??

(note this is just out of interest :D, i usually persuade mine to watch it with me!)

Depends. If it's been planned a while the missus gets the nod. Otherwise its the footy

i aint got no gf so its footy for me :D

also if i did it depends on which match if just say its a 2nd phase champions league match with bergkamp playing then im sure u PAz would rather watch footy :p

A choice!?! I've been led to believe that I am no longer allowed such privileges, but should I ever be granted one again I'll go to the footie please, if that's alright with you darling?:p

As someone who's divorced, football is for life, girlfriends and indeed wives, come and go.

This could explain why I'm single, amongst other things.:(

i tell her its either round mine or no go :) so yesterday she came over, and sat on here while i watched the game with my dad and bro...she wasnt complaining :p

The poll needs another option.

Both.

Miss K and I always watch the footy together. In fact she was nodding off when I flicked it over to watch the second half last night. I told her she should probably goto bed as she was knackered but she refused because the footy was on. I think she enjoys watching it more than I do:confused:

Oh well.

on a womens perspective...

they see 22 men, in shorts, sweating etc i think thats the only reason they may like to watch it.

even if I forget about a footy game on tv and I've planned
something with the wife it'll be cancelled for the footy.

No way I miss United. When there's footy on, I turn the lights
off, the tv up blaring and banish to upstairs onto her PC while
the footy is on. And she knows to stay there all night if United
have lost :)
