footy Team of the 90`s

seeing as i missed half of the 90s i dont think ill be able to do this :(

some player who pop to mind are

Schmeichel
Adams
Gascoigne
Cantona
Shearer

omg your joking? :D. Giggs played most if not all of the 90's! these are the earliest stats i can find: http://www.soccer-stats.com/teams/player_roll_call.asp?divno=1&code=mu&asid=92 from 1992 and i seem to remember him playing in 1991 (he singed onto utd in 1990) he is 28 and started very early so :).

As for Beckham he started in 1994/1995 season iirc :D, over half of the 90's then ;)

And I suppose they were so dominant in their position from day 1, that they can be called the best over a whole decade?
Even though they are only now reaching their peak in 2002? Though Giggs did start a little earlier ( 3 years a little? LOL ) than I thought.

And whoever said Viera, have a minute :p How old is he now? 24- ish? Yeah he ruled the 90's

yes giggs has been uniteds main left winger since 1992 and beckham since 1995/96.. i'd say they qualify to be players of the 90's, the poster didnt specify that they had to be dominant player of the 90's did they ?

Giggs fair 'nuff, he did start his career way earlier than I thought. I'll eat my hat on that one;) Becks didn't really do much though until around '97 did he?

I should have selected Jurgen Klinsman, he did have a very good season for Spurs once.:p

Yeah suppose your right but i still think becks is a good player and one of the best of the 90's :D, altho i am probably a lil' biased

thats pretty much the team i'd pick too :),but with Keown instead of Bruce
 
heh well i thought that, if i was picking the team for real then i'd have keown because him & adams owned together :) but individually i'd put bruce ahead of him.

bruce/pallister and adams/keown = ownage :)
