For all the guys on the boards

Aye - this is very important. As someone who has been there, found a lump and had the scans etc. Thankfully mine was all clear (apart from the cyst or whatever it was).

As for the scan, i'll concur about the jelly, warm and a bit of a mission to remove...its also a bit wierd whipping out the meat and 2 veg for a room full of people like when i had mine done, thankfully i'm happy with my lot and not too shy!! :o
 
Glad it's nothing to worry about :)

Had a scare myself a couple of months ago. Actaully a thread on here is what made me go get it checked out :o Just kept putting it off fearing the worst (VERY stupid I know!). Anyway turned out to be nothing aswell, the relief was awesome :cool:

Keeps rollin' those balls guys :D
 
I had a lump a while back, in my twenties, but it wasn't anything serious after a trip to the docs.

The difference being though, that my doc drinks in the same pub as me so I saw him about a week later and after the obligatory ' alright ', it was etched in my subconcious that he had infact jangled ones town halls.

In a manly way though. Not even metro.
 
Im going to the doctor tomorrow, had a bit of pain for a few weeks and I feel it's swollen on the left side - I am absolutely bricking it, and I am all alone tonight too, which makes it all the better :( I always think the worst though, I just hope I am wrong as usual!

I had a scare a while back, found a lump on the left one and went to the docs. Went before work one morning and was really worried, but the doc checked it and said it was a vein that was the problem, a bit like a varicose vein. Said it shouldn't cause any problems and if it did to go back. Its still there but not as bad, never had any problems with it. But soooo glad it wasn't cancer, walked round with a smile on my face that day i can tell you. :)

Mate, thats what I had, been aching, and I had a swelling on my right side. I was bricking it too, got a mate to come to the Dr with me to take my mind off while i was waiting. Its all cool, doctor knew straight away it wasnt a problem. Apparently small cysts and veins are really common. I know its hard not too but dont get too concerned! And good luck tomorrow, let us know how it goes :)
 
Some of you may remember me posting about this, but around 4 months ago I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and I had an operation to get the testicle removed.
To cut a long story short, I have escaped any treatment because I was very quick to inform my doctor and had the cancerous cells removed before they spread. Because of this I can now live my normal life like nothing happened(albeit with one less testicle), and I have not had a reduction in the quality of my life in the slightest.
So I cannot emphasis the importantance of going to your doctor as soon as possible if you find any wierd lump anywhere.
 
I do vaguely remember the thread, I'm glad that everythings worked out well for you :)

Your experiences just go to prove how important it is to check regularly!

Did they give you a fake to balence things up?(this isnt a joke, i just want to know if they keep things even for people) :confused:

She must have delicate hands right? My Girlfriend tried once and it wasnt pleaseant :o . She held on to them bag like a ps2 pad..... :o
