For the pimaxians???? Pimax 12K QLED

Pimax never seem to finesse a particular headset with updates, etc. They always seem to bring new hardware, effectively abandoning the old.
This is in stark contrast to Oculus and Valve which while hardware remains the same, they massively improve the user experience with OS, software and firmware updates.
(Ok I know Oculus effectively abandoned Quest 1 for Quest 2, but they have continued to bring improvements to Quest 1 like Airlink and hand tracking).

I can see there's a bad feeling about pimax here among some and I can understand the reasoning. I've had my 8KX 1 month now and i'm having a ball with it tbh, ive never used a hmd so much and this is my 7th hmd (all different).

They say it will have that... But pimax "released" an eye tracking module for their current headset over a year ago and that still doesn't work now, so I don't hold out much hope of them getting all the other tracking working in another 12 months either... This will either be a complete cluster bubble like their previous headsets or it will be years before it comes out

To be fair it's Tobii doing the eyetracking here so that's one thing that should actually work.

Definitely a wait and see headset for me.... If it pimax come through and the reviews are good then I'll almost certainly get one (unless the index 2 is out by then and looks like a better overall balance!)

The current eyetracking is a 3rd party too (the HTC version works fine) it's the integration by pimax that hasn't been done
