Heard a lot of people moaning about this and just found out..

Account settings -> privacy settings

Can block em :D and also turn off the damn annoying songs on peoples pages from playing automatically. Woohoo!

Yeah but doesn't that make your profile private to everyone exept you friends?
 
nope theres an option to say "block friend request from bands" shouldnt affect anyone else.

They can still view your profile like anyone else, just cant beg to be your mate

bands can still add you lol. it just says they might not accept the request.

so ner!
 
Wait!!! How can a band convince people they are good or get a record deal or become mega rich and famous if they dont have loads of myspace friends?!!! EVeryone knows that the measure of a good band is their friend count!

right so it does work. it gives the band the wrong impression lol!

thing is some normal people do use band myspace layouts for more song selections.
