on that machine, 2008 std 64 is tons snappier than business sp1 64
machine only has 1gb of ram mind
the only thing that didn't work (had a .net error) was the 'enable wireless service'
but you can add this in manually easily through the 'add features' section of windows 2008 (didn't know this until just now)

i've tried 2008 and found no benefit over vista. it even has superfetch disabled by default. no doubt that's the reason people love it because they have 4gb+ free instead of 0 in task manager.
