Just got my X1900XT card (thanks Nelly!). :D (Happy birthday to me!)

Haven't clocked it yet (got the core on water, OCZ ramsinks on the memory).

Previous 3DMark scores on the X850XT in sig. (overclocked to the LIMIT)

With the CPU @ 3.05 Ghz, but the X1900XT on STOCK, I get:

'03 = 19150 (up from 16k)
'05 = 11976 (up from 8k)
'06 = 5364 (up from ~ 2500 with the X850XT)

Not done '01 yet, not expecting too much improvement.

Will keep you posted with games and whatnot.

I'm on a 22" CRT and hoping to play all my games at 1600 x 1200....

VERY pleased so far, and haven't even started clocking....

I am actually more impressed that you could get 8,000 on 3dmark05 with a X850XT!

Good luck with the X1900XT. There is more than a small part of me thinking about getting a new card in a month or two after the 7900s are established. So far the X1900s sound pretty good.

yeh if I recall Jimbo did a hell of a lot of overclocking and voltmodding :D

A tad under 12k in 05 at stock is awesome.

OK, think I'm getting near the limits of this card:

735 Mhz core / 801 Mhz Mem

03 = 21227
05 = 12893
06 = 5849

Every single run was artifact-free.

The card produces some SERIOUS artifacts in ATI Tool when I increase it to 740 on the core or 810 on the mem.

Max recorded temps in all 3DMarks were 43'C on the core, 40'C in the GPU area. Vreg were hitting 97'C :eek:

think he's on about the 06 benchmark, you got 2500 odd, i think however the guy doesnt realise that the 06 benchmark isnt purely graphics, its a system test like 3d mark 2001 was, also the score you got for it is bang on.

2600 with a X80XT I used to get almost that with a 9800 pro and only a 2.8ghz northwod cpu.

No, you used to get almost that on a completely diferent benchmark :p

His 2600 was on 3dmark 06 not 05, he got 8000 on 05.

tis certainly a beast of a card you have there jimbo.... good job :}

It's been 9 months since I last upgraded, save the odd 100Mhz here and there on the CPU, and I couldn't hold off any longer.

Sod's law says the 7900 is going to be stunning though, but I'm hoping it'll have stunning prices to match. (I bought this 1900 2nd hand, so saved a few quid though).
