Force 3 vs Agility 3

A friend is after a new SSD, either a force 3 or Agility 3.

I have a Force 3 myself, but was wondering which is the best buy for him as they currently both seem to be the same price. I'm thinking performance AND stability.

I have heard a lot of good things about them guys, his maximum budget was £120, I managed to stretch him to £130 for the force2 or agility3 but not beyond that.

Also with the Force 3 1.3.3 firmware all issues pretty much seem to be sorted? I know OCZ use there own firmware so I'm unsure how this translates to them.

Ive got agility 3, mates got a force 3

Ive had mine over 6 months problem free now, getting spot on 523mb read/473mb write, (benched via Atto) cant complain with it. I thought when i got mine all the horror stories i read i would be sending it back, but not had any real issues with it and its been great.

Mates had his force 4 for about a month now, his getting random blue screen crashes all the time, lazy sod is putting up with it for now, id personally rma the thing.

But thats just two peoples experience, im sure a lot of stories would be the other way around.

Any idea which firmware version he is running?

I have 1.2 it does give the odd bsod etc I hear 1.3.3 has sorted just about everything

Had a word with him and he said his tried updating the firmware but it wont have any of it. Says it says its installed, but once his restarted his comp it says its still got the old firmware version.
