Force Vsync on AMD?

Right. I admit I don't look at CCC much, mostly because it's disabled as it just buggered with my fan settings.

However, the good news came that EA actually did something about the 30 FPS cap in NFS : The Runs so I bought it.

Basically the game is now fitted with a Vsync option that actually works, letting the game run faster. However, I absolutely abhor running games without Vsync so I was hoping to force it on and lock it to 60hz.

I know that you can apparently lock the FPS in Afterburner, but is this just a cap or an actual vertical sync?

I want a kosher vsync and I want to be able to play it at 60FPS rather than 30.

I did download an "ahem" evaluation version (as I always do with games, they're too expensive to believe lying reviewers) and quite liked the look and feel of the game but it was just balls slow.

The monitor is 60hz.

If you enable Vsync in the game it locks to 30 FPS. More info here -

Any way, the only way to get more than 30 FPS out of it is to disable Vsync but a mate of mine forced it back on via his Nvidia control panel and it then locked him to 60hz.

That I cancelled my subscription.

There's nothing I hate more in this world than a publication that sells its soul to the devil. Note, no mention of the cap at all. That's unacceptable in a PC game review.

I have D3Doverider now. Sadly the game won't install thanks to Origin being a pile of horses crap.

After all of the issues and six week wait to get Bf3 to work I am feeling a lawsuit this time.

I'm sick and tired of paying for games and they don't even work.
