chaparral said:The same could be said of ATI...It was only about a month or two ago that ATI released some vista drivers which they then had to release a fix to stop them crashing vista...
Plus the drivers for the x1900 cards were useless for about the first 4 to 6months...i had to use powerstrip to get them to support different widescreen res..

At 1920x1200 with all settings set to high (not shadows) FPS = about avg 45fps (i can't remember if i had AA set to 2x or off)Greenboi said:decent fps?

chaparral said:At 1920x1200 with all settings set to high (not shadows) FPS = about avg 45fps
But if you turn on shadows to high quality FPS = about 16fps![]()
Just Keep the shadow settings to low or med and you should be fine....Greenboi said:Not too bad, guess my GTS will be okay at 1280x1024 then, thanks for the info
With the rig in sig, stock CPU (I know, i'll get round to it sooner or later-Nick- said:what setting you got stalker running at and what fps you getting?
) 8800GTS 640 at 615/960 (1920) running at 1280x1024, maxed out, FPS is never less than 55. (Am in Pripyat atm) Oh and i am running the Float32 mod too.
