FORCEWARE 169.21

I think the UK drivers also contain EU lang's so are bigger where as the USA are simply ENG only so smaller. (I could be wrong) but I bet it installs to the same Lang as your OS, so if someone in France grabbed the UK ones I bet it would install in French.

Thats correct, I always download the ones you guys put in here (the UK ones) and my OS is in spanish and always my drivers install in spanish.

Only had time to check episode 2 as ive got to go to work in a bit, but i had Nv CP set to Overide App setting and had 16xAA selected, was jaggy as **** still, so its either *****, or the Nv CP has no effect on Ep2. :confused:

Looks like the AA is indeed ******, just quickly ran through the 1st test of 06 with 16xAA and Super on, and it was jaggy as hell still and i got the same frame-rates, im going back to 169.09's.

EDIT: 32bit XP as well.

EDIT AGAIN: Just quickly tried HL1, and the AA works in that.:confused:

It's not actually a UK version it's international version so contains all other major languages in the world, hence twice as big.

There are only 2 versions, the US English and International.
 
The AA problem seems to be with nhancer - I just tried HL2 E2 and AA was working with that, I then realised I didn't have a profile set-up for that, so I disabled AA in my nhancer FSX profile and the ingame AA works...but only at 4x insted of the 16xs I'm used to.

So it seem we need an updated nhancer.

Yeah no AA support for most new games! These latest drivers suck! My card can render HDR and AA in UT3 engine games, I like games to look visually stunning as well as play well! Hence I bought a 8800GTX! Iam not bothered having ridiculous frame rates, just a silky smooth gaming experience, no wonder nVidia are posting "huge" performance increases!, of course they will with AA being disabled through overiding in control panel. nHancer also does not work with the 169.21's my advice for AA go back to the 169.13's (beta)
HL2, etc will be ok as AA and AF can be set in game video setup! All UT3 engine games where you cant set AA in-game are affected! :( G88's can do this!, you can force it on (override) in earlier ForceWare releases, through control panel! Why not now!?! :mad:

There are more than just the US and UK versions. There are a few Asian versions, Spanish, French, Italian etc:
