Forcing Program In XP To Use 1 Core

Is there a way to do this from adding a switch in the shortcut or registry?

I have a program (Navisworks Jetstream V5) That will only do a 3D Walkthrough correctly and smoothly if you go into the task manager, go to the running program, right click then set affinity and disable the second CPU (Second Core)... Is there a way to get this to do it automatically when the program starts? When the second CPU is enabled the walkthrough flickers rapidly and stutters constantly...

Make a shortcut to star that one program using just 1 core.

Google should help you find what you need.

Have you got any links matey? I have been searching for a while now but there does not appear to be any options to enable/disable cores when creating or modifying a shortcut.

You could try these 2 apps:

The 1st one alters the exe, so make a backup of it first.

In theory, providing XP behaves.
