If you know a "friendly" copper, you could ask them to run the plate through their computer, tell you the address of the owner...

Only a fool would do it.

PNC is very auditible and all access is restricted as are passwords.

If you are lucky, you would only be fired. You would likely face charges of breaching data protection and also misconduct.

I thought the DVLA will tell you the name and address of the registered keeper for £2.50 or something like that. That's how all the scam parking ticket companies get your details. Just tell DVLA you are one of these if they ask a reason.

I don't know what information you can get, or how it works. But it may be worth a try.

thanks guys for your help I was planning on gettin another 1 and restoring it prefered the mk1 myself lol I did send a letter to the dvla but they cudnt do anything! Ill keep looking hoping it will find me lol
