If it's £7100 and money for your Ford KA it sounds like a good deal to me! a very good deal. If it's £7100 + your KA I'm not sure, depends on the age spec etc of the KA, how much is that worth if you sold it privatly? According to autotrader the 54/05 reg Zetec-S seem to go from £7500 to £8500, obviously £7100 sounds fantastic.

With a guess or two I'll say that you could get the fiesta for £9,595 without your KA (if hes offering 2K off) so your KA would be worth about £2,100. Makes your KA something like a 2000 1.3i? If thats the case hes really not doing you any "special" deal. Probibly fair price. If your KA is older than a 99/00 reg then it's probibly a nicer deal, newer and not so nice.

Still means you'll have nothing against the depriciation to make it worth buying a new car (imho) where you could buy something like the Zetec-S I posted, sell your car privatly and probibly only have to spend £5,000 for the 1 year older car as oposed to £7,100 for a new one.

I haven't driven one but it's meant to be an alright car.

Apparently there's a good ballance between the engine output & suspension setup which offers a touch more confidence than found in the Fezza ST at speed. You also get a fairly alright spec with them & the diesel version's worth a sniff if that's your bag. Hoof, the gearbox is good in them as well!

Yep, 15 years or so down the line. It'll be good for scrap roughly...

I reckon you might be a tad optimistic about it lasting a whole 15 years. But hey, if you think you can get one that far then good luck and hope it manages it!
