Went out yesterday looking for a newish car as my car is on its way to car heaven. Looked around at all sorts of cars then came across a Ford fusion and I was quite taken with it. I'm a big fella and I suffer with knee pain but getting in and out of this car was easy and pain free due to its slightly raised hight. Also it had the all important head room I require. Giving slightly more storage space than the fiesta is also handy as I play golf and go fishing. I took it out for a spin and yet again I was very impressed by the way it drove.

Yes it's essentially a fiesta on stilts but it suits my needs perfectly and with only 12k on the clock its in really good nick for a car under 7k. I feel a purchase coming on.:)

i know a guy 6ft 6in with one and he loves it, not my cup of tea. Perhaps try a Citoren Picasso? an ugly car but popular with fatties and the disabled so maybe good if you are really tall.

My Dad has one of these. The main reason he bought it was because with the seats folded the storage space is completely flat, even the front passenger seat goes flat and there is no bootlip. This makes loading/unloading his fishing gear extremely easy.

This is one of the reasons I want it as well. Might be signing on the dotted line this weekend.

I had a rental of one in Spain, and it was quite comfortable (I am 6'7"). It was the TDCI and was dog slow though. Seem expensive to me used.

Moogman, hope you enjoy the car. Before I got my Mondy I had a test drive in a Ford fusion, although I'm only 6'2" I found it a little cramped. Not quite enough boot space for my bike either.
