Ford insure.

No I dont mind taking calls. I just want to be able to sell on a level playing field. Like with customer who listen or actually call up becuase they are coming up for renewal. Not people don't even realise Im going to do a annual quote. Most think Im just setting up free insurance.

Of course I took the job thinking I'd be working non stop. It would be really stupid of me to think I wouldn't.

Also customer who have been waiting hour and a half aren't very nice when you tell them you are doing an annual quote.

Then your company wants to invest in some decent call routing / CTI stuff, yes it costs but the amount of people that would be happier on the phone (both sides) would make even more money than the outlay.
I hate companies who don't invest in something half decent atleast!

Its not that. Its the fact the car dealers don't tell them they are getting a quote. They just tell them to setup 7 day cover. But it doesn't matter we won't be doing for much longer. Some other stupid company has bought it. If they sort out a proper prcing structure then they will do well.

trust me, unless they were waiting on being confirmed lottery winners, waiting 90 mins will have no person happy, there are things that can be done to limit the wait and make the whole experience much better for all involved.

Yeah 27 new staff that are curently being trained. I will admit when I started I expected lots of work but then I ended up with some wait time between calls. So it has been a bit of a wake up. But its not that that gets my goat. I can sell and I like to sell but everything is against me on here.
