I was on G2A.com looking to buy arma III and I saw the polish version is only £13 as opposed to the £30 English one. I am right in thinking that I could activate the polish version with a VPN and it would work. It does not mention anything about being region locked like the Russian one they sell.

Unsure only time ive had a region locked on is from russia and that requires me to use vpn each time I want to play it. Not worth it for that but as you say polish might be different, does it not have instructions on the site.

Thanks for replying I asked the site and they said there is no guarantee it will work.
The way it is worded on the site makes me think it would work

Polish- You will be able to activate this product in: Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania.

Russian- WARNING! This product is region locked and it can be activated only in: RUSSIA

Also the polish version is priced mid way between the English version and the Russian one.

"My mate" has Dark Souls 2 via RU. If "he" logs in to steam it just says install. But because of the way the game actually works "he" can just click the .exe file for Dark Souls and it will then login in game. But if that didn't work in order to play the game via steam "he" would have to load a Russian VPN each and every time "he" ran the game. "He" definitely wouldn't buy this way again.

;)
