I've had a friend come down for a few days for a couple of nights out. Needles to say i've barely eaten, and have at the strangest of times.

Today consisted of two slices of toast, an apple and a chocolate bar, having been up scince 12. My brother convinced me not to run on a full stomach. Just returned from the just gone half 8 after getting there at half 7. A pitiful result of getting 7 minutes in before a stitch hit, and cripled me at 15 minutes! Barely got any sets out too.

Being back from summer anyway im not eating anywhere near as much! and I think getting my 10km record down today was far too amitious! Hopefully it won't take too long to get back on form when I arrived back at Uni in a weeks time.

Anybody else feeling off form due to bad diet and hiked gym prices?

I wish undereating was my problem:p

Im going to ditch the low carb dieting for the next month or so as i will be fasting, so im going to hit the road and really try and get my times down for the 10K.

Ive been annoyed by the gymhikes, infact me and my mate have decided to setup his garage with some weights and a bench, Im certainly not paying £40 to fitness first anymore.

There's a gym near me in woodside near Garston/Watford thats just opened. £40 a month gets you anytime access, entry for free into all fitness classes and the ability to swim for free too. £25 a month student rate. I pay £23 at current at uni and dont get to swim (which i would like, but there is no pool!) and i dont do the classes but £2 extra is a bargain. Its just about a 20 minute drive which is too far unless i lived closer.

Just getting out of a routine for a period of time seems to hit me hard. Went to the gym the day after getting back from Reading fest last weekend and had to cut the session massively short - turns out 5 days of drinking, lack of sleep, eating crap and inhaling camp fire smoke isn't great for you.
