forgotten xp pro password

Help me please,

i use xp pro and did not have a password for my account and now it is askin me 4 1.

i can get into the guest account but it has limited access

any suggestions hw i can get into my admin account

Start

Run

type "CMD", then hit Enter

type "net user administrator *" where administrator is the account name you want to change, hit enter, then for no password, hit enter again.

Log out of the Guest account and press: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, twice.

The in the user name box, enter, "administrator"

Leave the password blank and press enter.

Damn.

Go to Google and type in, "Forgotten XP Password".

There're a few ways of getting it reset..none of them however is an easy task. I would back up what you can and format + reinstall Windows. But, try Google first, only format if you have pulled all your hair out and at breaking point, after Google gives no help...which it will, but expect to be there all night.

yh i did try tht but when i burned the image to disk the drive is not finding the cd

can you restart in safemode and log in as administrator?

Yes, normally the Administrator account. Which I asked you to try.

Have you ever had any passwords on the PC?
