Format & Partition problems

I am having problems getting my XP system to correctly format a Samsung 200GB IDE Hard Drive.

The bios will report 200Gb if it is the only drive & set to master, if I install as a slave to my 160GB Samsung the bios only sees it at a 32GB drive.

I have just partioned & formated it (NTFS) using Windows XP setup but as soon as I connect it as a slave XP only sees it as 31.4GB

Anyone got an ideas?

Is there a capacity limitation jumper on the drive?

Yes that was the problem, many thanks.

I had moved the jumper from Master to the usual position for Slave (2nd row) and this was limiting the drive to 32mb
