Might i have to format it using the /s parameter? Can i do this and specify that i want it to be NTFS?
The reason being is that if i format it then try to install win2k, after pressing any key to boot from the CD i get the following message:
'Couldn't open the boot partition to check for a signature'
After the initial setup and the computer reboots, i can get no further - 'invalid systems disk' and other similar messages.
What does the signature thing mean? Do i need to add something to the drive?
I get this error on 2 Compaqs and 3 hard disks.
Thanks
