Formating a ssd

got a OCZ Vertex Series 120GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive and have installed windows xp pro going to buy windows vista 64bit tonight, and was wondering how to format a ssd is it any different from formating a harddrive?

Best to align it to 64 and format it to 4k file allocation.

You will need to download diskpar if your on xp.
