I recently formated my 2nd disk which had a windows xp installation in it. But still every time my system boots i get the option to choose between the 2 installation. This irritates me. How can I properly format the disk so windows will stop recognize it? Danke.

Which OS are you currently running now on your first hard drive? What is on your second hard drive?

If you're on Windows XP, open the run command, (Windows Key + R)
Type in "Msconfig" with out the quotes. In the new box that comes up, select BOOT.INI.

There you can remove it. ;)

also, if you dont have msconfig for some reason..

start, run, %systemdrive%\boot.ini (or c:\boot.ini)
